So does anybody else have a a problem with the notoriety this book is recieving? Personally im into the whole bdsm thing, but frankly the book is a piece of crap. My girl friend was/is reading them and i asked if i could look, the book is written on what appears to be a sixth grade reading level, with size 14 font or something. Its not only this that bothers me but it just seems to me to be another example of the steady decline of society. No one hears about Pulitzer or nobel prize winners,John cassidy or Jules Hoffmann. all you hear about is who can cause the biggest controversy and how that will put dollars in their pockets.

Honestly in my opinion its the same as its always been, been as edgy as you can be while remaining mainstream. theres nothing different about this than the dictionary of american slang or something
