life and death

I've been interested in ancient Chinese philosophies over the past few weeks, especially the sceptic Zhuangzi. I think this quote describes a very different perspective on life and death.

Just wondering if anyone had any thoughts? Agree/ disagree? Like it or not?

it is very interesting, personally i find understanding of death to be a hard topic to convey and understand properly. Lately ive been review a japanese book of parables, zen blood, zen bone. Very interesting too. I would disagree with this quote however because personally i dont believe we should fear death, nor hate it. death is merely another part of the journey of life, only those who are unprepared should hate death.

I agree that people should not fear death because logically it is foolish to fear death; it is one of the few guarantees in life. However, I still fear death; but it is more of a fear of the unknown and possible pain that comes with it
