The beginning of the end

It seems the foot hole america has had in the middle east is slowly being filled. Every day the US spends hundreds of millions on a war they are obviously losing; borrowing from former enemies they are pushing themselves further into sinkhole they created. From the ancient holy roman empire, through the Byzantine to the Spanish and french all global hegemonies fall the same way. They over extend their reach and try to grasp on to a fleeting ideal attempting to fill the gap with more debt and war. How long now till we see the total collapse of a failing empire.
