| It seems that the greeks are on the verge of loosing their place in euro. They are hoping on another installment of a bailout package of the EU. If they don't get it they will loose the euro. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-19719553With this plus the turmoils in spain and italy i fear for state of western society. As much as i despise the consumerist culture that we have all fallen victim too, i much more fear the imposition of a tyrannical dictatorship built on the chard remains of a former wealthy society. The illusion of freedom will only remain in place as long as it is profitable for those in charge. http://rt.com/news/spain-protests-parliament-crisis-942/ | |

| An update from spain Today, http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-19726981It seems that after warnings of more spanish debt problems the European economy has began to decline. Because of this economic turmoil europe is seeing the rise of more and more politically and economically motivated protests. And these protest are beginning to have an impact world wide. Even now north american stock markets are feeling the influx of an unstable europe. And if these problems weren't enough similar protests and economic turmoil are starting to commence in asia. With the squabble over a few island between japan and china, Japan is now ceasing the productions of a variety of international goods. http://www.nytimes.com/2012/09/27/business/global/japans-automakers-scale-back-production-in-china-as-sales-drop.html?_r=0And soon the ripple effect will be felt strongest in north america as it will impact consumer culture the most. Car, electronic, that kind of stuff. Be prepared for the worst; at the very least we will see an exponential rise of said consumer products, and in turn see a decline in the purchasing rates in our society, which i think will in turn have a grave economic impact. My short experience on this planet brings my mind to the recollection of 2008. Lets hope it doesn't fall that far. | |
