I found this article early this morning while perusing some areas of the web when i came across this article.
A homeless man was shot int the face
while trying to make his home in front of a church
see for your self
http://rt.com/usa/news/homeless-gaydos-swat-palm-441/Again i was unable to locate much information regarding this incident by any american media outlets which i find to appallingly unsurprising.
I find it amazing how it can be reasonable for a team of armed officers to leave an innocent man blind and wounded outside of a church in america. People talk about abuses of power by military's and other countries law officials yet remain totally blind to the injustices right before their very eyes. And part of the reason i think, is due to the power of the media. how is it that freedom of the press has allowed for the transformation from news to tabloids. freedom of speech is used to justify hateful rhetoric and freedom of information affords journalists the right tell us which celebrity is in rehab for what or that charlie sheens bank records indicate he spent 90,000 a year on hookers. Who gives a shit? honestly does that really have an impact on any one of our lives.
Heres something worth reading.
